Picture Book Biographies for Black History Month

It’s always a challenge to find children’s books that deal with topics like racism and minorities in a way that is cultural sensitive, accurate, and easy to understand. One of our favorite series to do so is the Picture Book Biographies by David A. Adler. This well-written, well-illustrated series presents the truth of history to kids in an engaging and age-appropriate way. We’ve added several of Adler’s books to our collection!
