Review | Are You My Baby? by Kathleen Rizzi

Thank you to Star Bright Books for the opportunity to review this book.

Are You My Baby? by Kathleen Rizzi is a lift-the-flap matching book that is great for toddlers and preschoolers. Children will use their critical thinking skills to determine which baby goes with which adult animal. The book features bright and colorful photographs of each animal, which makes identifying them easy and fun for kids.

Both of my boys love lift-the-flap books, so I grabbed them both to read this one. My older son is 2, and he quickly got into the rhythm of guessing the right animals and telling me the animal sounds. My younger son is 18 months old, and he really loved the pictures. He was constantly pointing to all of the animals and jabbering. When we were finished, my younger son kept signing “more,” so we read the book again.

Are You My Baby? is a great, high quality lift-the-flap book that is perfect for babies, toddlers, and preschoolers. The excellent photographs, and the fact that pictures of actual animals are used rather than drawings, are perfect for teaching children about animals in a way that is fun and engaging for them. Are You My Baby? would be a great addition to your young child’s library.

Are you my baby is published by Star Bright Books and is 24 pages long.
